Vietnam Airlines anounces plans to resume international flights in July

Vietnam Airlines announced that it is ready to resume flights to seven neighboring Asian nations starting July 1.

Vietnam Airlines CEO Duong Tri Thanh emphasized that this was only a plan that depended on the permission from the Vietnamese government.

Vietnam Airlines is the first airline in Vietnam to announce plans to resume flights following the outbreak of Covid-19 which shut all international flights to and from Vietnam.

The government has said that it will only consider allowing flights to destinations that have had no new Covid-19 cases in at least 30 days.

Hanoi-Seoul | Seven flights a week
Hanoi-Busan | Three to four flights a week
Ho Chi Minh City- Hong Kong | Three to four flights a week
