Vietnam Airlines announced that it is ready to resume flights to seven neighboring Asian nations starting July 1.
Vietnam Airlines CEO Duong Tri Thanh emphasized that this was only a plan that depended on the permission from the Vietnamese government.
Vietnam Airlines is the first airline in Vietnam to announce plans to resume flights following the outbreak of Covid-19 which shut all international flights to and from Vietnam.
The government has said that it will only consider allowing flights to destinations that have had no new Covid-19 cases in at least 30 days.
