Super Bowl LIII is set to be a thriller between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams. Tom Brady vs. Jared Goff. Bill Belichick vs. Sean McVay. If you happen to be in Vietnam don’t worry, we got you covered on where you can watch Super Bowl 53.
First things first, in Vietnam it’s not Super Bowl Sunday, it’s Super Bowl Monday. Kickoff for the Super Bowl is set for 18:30 Eastern Standard Time which means in Vietnam it will be 06:30 in the morning on Monday, February 4th. Most parties will open their doors by 06:00 if not earlier. So depending on what you got going on and the kind of person you are, it’s either gonna be a late night or an early morning.
One additional thing to note is that Tuesday February 5th is Lunar New Year or Tet, so some bars which have shown the Super Bowl in the past might be closed for the holiday. Where to Watch in Hanoi
The Moose and Roo Smokehouse
Located just south of Hoan Kiem Lake, Moose and Roo has you covered with good BBQ and wings any day of the week. They are also probably the only bar in Vietnam with Pabst Blue Ribbon on draught. They’ll be hosting their popular Super Bowl event complete with beer and wings. Doors open at 6:30am February 4th. Booking ahead is recommended.
Puku Cafe and Sports Bar
If you’re an avid sports fan you will undoubtedly have been to Puku before. Open 24 hours a day, this sports bar shows every sport imaginable. From big fights, Asian cup football games, to Rugby and Cricket matches this place has it all. A great place to watch any sport you want to see. They will be showing the Superbowl at 6am February 4th, doors are always open so feel free to come early.
Located in the expat heavy area of Quang An, Tracy’s is popular with many expats and diplomats. With a menu of cold beer, burgers, and hot dogs this place is popular for people craving an American establishment. Several TVs show all the major sporting events and this years Super Bowl will be no exception.
Breakfast Buffet at Jaspas Hanoi
For a slightly different vibe, Jaspas Hanoi shows the game every year over a breakfast buffet. A nice alternative if you want to wake up early rather than stay up late. On the 4th floor of the Hanoi Towers you’ll be treated to a nice view of the early morning grind as well. At 600.000 VND you’ll get access to the breakfast buffet plus free flow on Tiger, Bloody Mary’s and Fresh Juices.

Phatty’s Sports Bar n Grill – District 1
Right in the heart of District 1, Phatty’s is a popular sports bar for expats and locals alike. With 6 TV’s and a massive HD projector you’ll be hard pressed to find a place with better quality viewing than Phatty’s. Like every year, Phatty’s will be opening their doors at 6am for their Super Bowl Party.
Guru Sports Bar – District 3
Located in District 3, Guru Sports Bar is a popular sports bar among locals. During Vietnam’s incredible run in the Asian cup, the place was packed with football fans. With a great range of Asian style pub food and an assortment of craft beers you can’t go wrong for a place to relax and enjoy some sports. Guru will be opening their doors at 6am. You’ll be bound to find some local lovers of American football if you go here.

Heart of Darkness Craft Brewery – District 1
Heart of Darkness’s craft beers have been an absolute hit all over Vietnam and Southeast Asia. In addition to their homebase in District 1, you can find their beers in many pubs across the country. Last year they hosted a popular Super Bowl event with limited spots. They have yet to confirm if they will be repeating event this year but we will update this when we know more!
Game On Sports Pub – District 1
Another popular place in District 1, this is one of the largest sports pubs on our list. Game On has 9 large flat screen tv’s and 2 giant projectors. They show every sport you can think of across all their screens. Expect the Super Bowl to be shown here on all their screens.
The popular backpacker street in District 1, Bui Vien is filled with bars, pubs, and clubs. Many of them are open all hours of the day so there will be bound to be several places with beers flowing and showing the big game. A great last resort if you’re nearby or everything else is full.
Where to Watch in Da Nang
Dirty Fingers Da Nang
Dirty Fingers is one of the best places in Da Nang for ribs and wings, daily live sports and live music acts. Located in My An close to the beach they have good vibes every day of the week. For this years Super Bowl, Dirty Fingers will be opening their doors at 6am.
Right on the waterfront, Universal Pub plays host to many fun events. From open mic karaoke to pool tournaments there’s always a party here. With several screens as well, they show most of the popular sporting events. Their doors will be open at 6am for the Super Bowl matchup.
Where to Watch in Hoi An
Three Dragons Sports Bar and Restaurant
Opened in 2011 and located in Hoi An ancient town, this is Hoi An’s original sports bar. With 6 screens they will show just about anything you can think of. They will be hosting their own Super Bowl event with doors opening at 6am. Breakfast and drinks available and free entry.
Where to Watch in Nha Trang
Cheers Sports Pub
Cheers Sports Pub is a popular sports bar in Nha Trang typically showing all the main events from the English Premier League. Friendly faces, beers and good food are all in ample measure here. Doors open at 06:15.
The Blue Fox Sports Bar
Right on the main drag Blue Fox Sports Bar is a great bar near many hotels. Attracts a wide range of tourists and local expats. Owners and staff are friendly and the beer here is ice cold. They’ll be opening their doors at 06:00 am sharp for the Super Bowl. Expect to run into a few Russian and American fans of the game here.
