Day 1: Hanoi - Sapa
The day starts with a 7 am pick up at your hotel in Hanoi before starting the 6-hour drive to Sapa. On the way, you'll stop to stretch your legs and enjoy some delicious refreshments.
You will arrive in Sapa at around 1 pm, where you'll receive a welcome drink, and your tour guide will introduce the tour itinerary to you.
After the introduction, you'll enjoy a delicious authentic Sapa lunch with your fellow travelers.
After lunch, you'll make the short drive to magnificent Y Linh Ho and trek through the rice terraces, along Muong Hoa Stream to Lao Chai, the village of the Black Hmong tribe.
Surrounding Lao Chai is the breathtaking Hoang Lien Son mountain range making this village one of the most picturesque in Vietnam.
From Lao Chai, you continue the 4-hour hike until you reach Ta Van, home of the Zay ethnic group. In Ta Van, you'll check into the homestay and explore this peaceful village nestled within the spectacular valley of Muong Hoa.
At the homestay, you'll enjoy a delicious local dinner. After dinner, you can either relax at the peaceful homestay or wonder to a nearby bar to socialize with other travelers.
Day 2: Sapa - Hanoi
You will have breakfast at the homestay before heading out on today's adventure.
The trek starts with navigating through the beautiful rice paddies of Sapa, surrounded by a fantastic mountainous landscape.
You will trek through a bamboo forest to reach a plateau with a panoramic view of Giang Ta Chai village, home of the Dzao tribe.
After about a 2-hour trek, you'll have an opportunity to relax before the bus picks you up and takes you back to Ta Van.
Once in Ta Van, you'll have a chance to shower before checking out of the hotel.
After lunch, you will have some free time to explore the town before meeting with the group again at 3 pm to board the bus heading to Hanoi.
The bus will arrive in Hanoi at around 9 pm, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel.
