Day 1
Day 1: Saigon - Cai Rang Floating market - Chau Doc

The tour starts with a 4 am pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. From HCMC, you'll head to Mekong Delta's largest city, Can Tho, where you'll get on a boat at Ninh Kieu pier and sail Hau River.

Your first stop will be at Mekong Delta's most famous market, Cai Rang floating market. Although the floating market is mainly a wholesale market, it is entertaining to watch the buyers and sellers interact and bargain. You may even do some negotiating yourself.

You can sit back in your boat, buy coffee from local vendors, and watch the trading going on all around you. Before leaving the busy Cai Rang floating market, you'll have a delicious local style bowl of noodle soup.

Your boat will speed up through green and beautiful canals of the Mekong River. You will pass the rural villages and arrive at a fruit orchard where you can enjoy exotic tropical fruits and get to know more about the life of the Mekong people.

At 10 am, you head back to town and hop on a car that will take you to the picturesque Binh Thuy ancient house, a beautiful French colonial-style villa built in the early 1800s.

From Binh Thuy ancient house, you'll head to Cao Dai Temple before continuing the journey to Tra Su Bird Sanctuary. In Tra Su Bird Sanctuary, you embark on a small traditional boat, navigate the canals, and experience the wildlife of this extraordinary conservation area.

Tra Su Bird Sanctuary is a beautiful thousand-hectare mangrove-forest surrounded by paddy fields. Enjoy a stroll around the conservation and climb up the observation deck for a spectacular view of the bird sanctuary and its thousands of storks and birds nesting.

After Tra Su, you'll head to Chau Doc, where you'll spend the night in a 3-star hotel. Once in Chau Doc, you'll check into the hotel and discover this beautiful border town. For dinner, you'll be free to explore the local restaurants and cuisine on your own before returning to the hotel at your convenience.

Day 2
Day 2: Chau Doc - Phnom Penh

The second day of the tour will start with an early morning breakfast at your hotel before being picked up by Hang Chau Boat Company and transfer to the speed boat pier. At the Chau Doc pier, you'll board a speed boat that will take you to Phnom Penh via Vinh Xuong immigration checkpoint.

The boat departs Chau Doc at 7.30 am, and you'll arrive in Phnom Penh at around 12:30 pm, where you'll be free to continue with your adventure. Service ends at Chau Doc pier at 7:30 am.
