The day will start with a pick up at your hotel in either Hoi An or Danang. From there, you'll cross one of the most spectacular coastal roads in Vietnam, the Hai Van Pass. You will stop at a towering peak for a breathtaking view of the valley and the coast.
After making a brief photo stop at Lang Co Beach, you'll head to the Royal Tomb of Khai Dinh King. This monument was built in the 1920s in honor of Khai Dịnh, the twelfth Emperor of the Nguyen dynasty.
During the next stop, you will have the opportunity to sample various Hue delicacies in a local restaurant where you'll enjoy a delicious lunch.
After a pleasant lunch, it's time for the main attraction of the day, the Imperial Citadel of Hue. The citadel is an impressive collection of buildings that served as the imperial capital of Vietnam in the 1800s.
From the Imperial Citadel, you'll head to Thien Mu Pagoda, the largest pagoda in Hue and the unofficial symbol of the city.
For the last section of the tour, you'll cruise down the beautiful Perfume River on the symbolic dragon boat while enjoying the picturesque view of the surrounding jungle.
The ship will take you to Hue city center, where you'll jump back on the bus and head to your hotel. Should you be staying in Da Nang, you can expect to reach your hotel at approximately 6:30 PM, but at around 7:15 PM if you are staying in Hoi An.
