Your tour starts with an early morning pick up at your hotel and a 2.5-hour drive to Ninh Binh.
On the way, your English speaking guide will brief you on the schedule and tell you about the area's culture and history.
The first stop in Ninh Binh is at the non-touristy part of Tam Coc, a flooded limestone cave system.
There, you will enter a small rowboat, sail between limestone mountains, down deep valleys, and through three large stalagmite caves.
After stepping back on land, you will enjoy an excellent traditional Vietnamese lunch at a small local restaurant.
Next, you visit Hoa Lu to explore the Dinh and Le King Temples, two of Ninh Binh's most historically significant monuments.
From the temples, you'll head to Trang An, where you'll mount a bicycle and cycle around the UNESCO Heritage Site.
You will travel through beautiful villages, between towering limestone mountains, and passed extensive canal systems.
At sunset, you'll sit down with a refreshing cup of tea and watch the sun retire behind the limestone mountains before getting back on the bus for the drive back to your hotel in Hanoi.
