Your private guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hue at 6:30 PM, and give you a short briefing before whizzing you through town towards some of Vietnam's most excellent street cuisine dining spots.
At each stop, you get a thorough introduction to the origins of the dishes you savor, as well as enlightening tidbits about Vietnamese culture and the history of Hue.
All the guides are local students who are passionate about introducing the history and culture of the city they call home to their foreign guests.
First, you will sample some delicious Hue local cakes—such as Loc cake, Beo Cake and Nam Cake—prepared by one of the most excellent street food vendors in town.
Next, you will enjoy Hue's most delicious Khot Cake—a local rice paper delicacy—before feasting on a traditional Vietnamese BBQ and sampling the local beer.
After you have tried the noodle soup for which Hue is famous, you will finally visit the Night Market, where you get to top the evening off by choosing from one of Hue's 20 kinds of traditional sweet soups.
