Description

Your tour starts early in the afternoon when your local English-speaking guide picks you up at your hotel.

From the back of a scooter, you'll glimpse unmatched views of Hue's cityscapes before visiting a small family-run coffee shop where you'll be introduced to the very best Vietnamese coffee in town.

You'll then visit the Khai Dinh Tomb on Chau Chu mountain, and learn about the unique history of Vietnamese royalty.

Your next stop is Vong Canh Hill, a romantic hilltop with a great view over the majestic Perfume River and its surrounding jungle.

After you have captured the perfect photo, your guide will take you to the origin of the Perfume River. In the autumn, flowers from upriver orchards fall into the water, bestowing upon it the perfume aroma from which it draws its name.

You'll then head to the Tu Hieu Pagoda, located about three miles (5 km) outside of Hue. This stunning Buddhist temple is enveloped in the serene atmosphere of the forest and its surroundings dotted with marvelous ancient tombs.

Before driving you back to your hotel, your guide will take you to three different restaurants and street food stalls where you will taste the local delicacies for which Hue is famed across the world.
